Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed and accurate 3D Building Information Models (BIM) using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
- Create Revit Families/Components in accordance with project specifications and industry standards (LOD 500).
- Produce precise 2D construction drawings and detailed documentation, ensuring compliance with Singapore’s codes, standards, and regulations.
- Attend site meetings and coordination sessions when required.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to incorporate design inputs into BIM models.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts between architectural, structural, and MEP systems using Navisworks or equivalent tools.
- Continuously update and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Extract quantity take-offs for cost estimation, procurement, and construction planning.
- Perform quality assurance checks on BIM deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support progress/work-done claims with relevant documentation and as-built drawings.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members or colleagues on BIM tools and workflows.
- Handle drafting responsibilities, including schematic diagrams, shop drawings, and coordination drawings.
- Carry out general administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to a positive office environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction or engineering industry.
- Familiar with ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems and security systems.
- Strong knowledge of drafting practices using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Proficient in BIM tools, especially Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
- Familiar with BIM workflows, practices, and submission standards in the Singapore construction industry.
- Excellent 2D drafting and 3D modeling skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and convert them into BIM models.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal and external teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, especially for clash detection and resolution.
- Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A diploma or degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a similar BIM or drafting role within the Singapore AEC industry is an advantage.
- Able to work as a team, assertive, independent and proactive
- Able to travel to Singapore for weekly and adhoc on-site meeting
